Thank you to those that have completed the Test Preference Form. We are now in the position to clarify when and how pupils will return to school.
If you still have not completed this form please do so as an a matter of urgency by clicking here.
We have built a time line that will enable us to test pupils before they start back at school.
Pupils will be sent a test appointment at the start of next week. They will come in to school for their test and then return home once the result has been processed. This allows us to maintain safety, by staggering the number of pupils on site and reducing the waiting time. If you have consented to your child taking part in the testing please follow this link for further information and the consent form.
We would expect pupils to be on site for testing for approximately 1hr.
Remote teaching will continue for classes until they return to school. If your child is not having a test they should return on the return to school date shown in the table below.
Pupils already attending school should continue to attend as normal until their year group returns.
More information will follow at the start of next week.
Date | Testing | Return to school |
Friday 5th March | Year 11 + Part Year 10 |
|
Monday 8th March | Part Year 10 + Part Year 7 | Year 11 |
Tuesday 9th March | Part Year 7 + Part Year 9 | Year 10 |
Wednesday 10th March | Part Year 9 + Year 8 | Year 7 |
Thursday 11th March |
| Year 9 and 8 |
Reminder: Pupils need a face covering which should be worn in lessons as per the DFE guidance.
Attendance to school is mandatory, however if your child is displaying symptoms they must not come to school and you must contact school immediately. Track and Trace remains in place and if your child is identified as a close contact they will need to self isolate for ten days.
