Vision Statement

Our vision is summarised in our mission statement 'Excellence in the Heart of the Community'

We expect the highest standards from all our pupils and pride ourselves on forging and maintaining excellent relationships with our pupils and our parents to support this.

We are unwavering in our child-centered ethos, which sees us putting the child at the centre of every decision we make at Hillside. Our pupils thrive in this environment and are courteous, friendly and extremely happy during their time at school.

We strive for the highest possible levels of achievement for all our pupils. We set high standards and expect only the best in effort and conduct from our pupils.

We achieve the best for our pupils through:

  • excellent teaching and learning
  • excellent pupil progress
  • excellent academic standards
  • excellent care and guidance
  • excellent opportunities for all

We are aspirational for our pupils and see it as our duty to ensure that at the end of five years with us our pupils have the best life chances possible.

I would encourage you to visit us by booking an appointment or attending our Open Evening.
