Hillside's Class of 2025 Celebrate!
We are thrilled to announce another excellent set of GCSE results for Hillside High School in 2025! Our pupils have once again shown incredible determination, talent, and resilience, and we couldnot be prouder of their achievements.
Maths continues to be a real strength, with, for a second year running, an improvement in grade 4’s and 5’s.
Our pupils demonstrated excellent attitudes towards their studies, and we had record breaking attendance at all revision sessions therefore they thoroughly deserve these excellent results.
Key Highlights:
- Overall attainment has soared, with our average Attainment 8 score rising, a significant improvement on last year.
- Maths and English results have seen remarkable growth, with a nearly 10% increase in pupils achieving a strong pass (5+) in both subjects.
- Higher than National number of grades 7s, 8s and 9s for maths.
- Geography and Spanish have shone, with further significant improvements in attainment at 4+
- Science success continues, withmany more pupils achieving two standard passes compared to last year.
- Exceptional individual performances, including five pupils with an average grade of 7+
Overall, pupils achieved 136 top grades (7+) with over 40% of all pupils achieving at least one of these.
These results reflect the hard work of our pupils, the dedication of our staff, and the support of our families. Together, we are building a culture of excellence and ambition at Hillside High School. Truly reflecting our vision of ‘Excellence in the Heart of the Community’.
