Hillside High School Celebrates Outstanding GCSE Success for the Class of 2026

Hillside High School is delighted to celebrate the achievements of our Year 11 pupils following the publication of the 2026 GCSE examination results.

The Class of 2026 has achieved a fantastic set of outcomes, reflecting their hard work, resilience and determination.

These results represent a significant moment for the school and demonstrate the continued impact of our unwavering commitment to high standards, excellent teaching and ambitious opportunities for every young person.

This year's results show strong improvement across a number of key measures and highlight the remarkable progress made by pupils across the curriculum.

We are particularly proud of the significant gains secured in English and Mathematics, alongside impressive outcomes in a range of subjects including Art, 3D Art, Photography, Spanish, Business Studies, Sport and the Separate Sciences.

These achievements are a testament to the dedication of our students, the expertise and commitment of our staff, and the invaluable support provided by parents and carers.

Together, we have created a culture where aspiration, effort and success are celebrated, and where every pupil is encouraged to aim high and achieve their full potential.

As an oversubscribed school at the heart of its community, Hillside High School continues to build on its strong reputation for excellence and continuous improvement. We are immensely proud of the trust families place in us and of the outcomes our young people continue to achieve year after year.Key Highlights from GCSE Results 2025

"I would like to thank our staff for their relentless commitment, our parents and carers for their continued support, and our students for embracing the high expectations we set. The improvements we have seen across the school are significant and demonstrate what can be achieved when a community works together with a shared belief in excellence.

"We look forward to seeing our pupils flourish as they move on to colleges, apprenticeships and further training, and we are confident they will continue to make us proud.
