Soft Landing Success – Stronger Together

Our first Soft Landing Parent & Carer Drop-In was a huge success, with many families receiving support in just one morning. Families accessed practical help with fuel poverty, benefits, attendance, SEND, mental health and pastoral support, with school staff and partner agencies working together in one welcoming space.

One Year 8 parent told us:

“I can’t believe how much this has helped me. I’m leaving feeling like a weight has been lifted.”

Our next Soft Landing will take place in November, continuing to bring school, families and community partners together to remove barriers and support our young people.
